This privacy policy sets out how Ipswich Symphony Orchestra (ISO) uses and protects any information that you give ISO.  ISO is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

ISO may change this policy from time to time by updating this document. This policy is written in accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective 25th May 2018.

 

What we collect


We may collect the following information:

• name
• contact information including email address and telephone number(s)
• demographic information such as postcode
• other information relevant to the day-to-day business of the orchestra



What we do with the information we gather and who has access to it

 

We require this information to allow us to run the orchestra smoothly.  Your personal data is used solely for ISO affairs.  Contact information is accessible to Committee members and orchestra section leaders as/when required for ISO matters.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and only used by ISO.

 

 

Controlling your personal information

 

You may choose to update or restrict the collection/use of your personal information by notifying any member of the Committee.  Members should email iosocmembers@gmail.com.

All personal data will be deleted
a) when you confirm you are leaving the orchestra, or
b) after two years of non-attendance, or
c) at your request,
after which we will be unable to contact you.
