Adults: £45 payable per term or £135 payable annually
Full-time Students under age of 25: Free membership
Please ensure subscriptions are paid promptly, and certainly no later than the 6th rehearsal of each term.

We were sorry to hear of the death of Elizabeth Kennedy.
Having played doublebass with the orchestra for many years, Liz became a Life Member and continued her commitment to Ipswich Symphony Orchestra as our Vice President.
Liz loved the orchestra, and it was always a delight to see her at our playday rehearsals where she enjoyed reminiscing with old friends.
A generous, kind, and lovely lady. We extend our sincere condolences to her family.

Peter Lister
6 February 2022
We were sad to learn that Peter passed away on Sunday 6th February 2022.
Peter played double bass with us for many years and was much loved member of the bass section.
He also enjoyed folk music, and was a trained ceramicist and a talented woodworker.

Geoff Webb
5 February 1952 ~ 21 March 2021
Our deepest sympathy to Sally and Charlotte following the peaceful death of Geoff on 21 March 2021.
As well as being a peripatetic brass teacher with Suffolk County Council, Geoff has surely played with every local orchestra as well as many wind bands and brass ensembles.
Live music in Suffolk will not be the same without him.

Dennis Halstead
2 September 1931 ~ 18 January 2021
Sady Dennis passed away on 18 January 2021.
He was a long-standing member of the orchestra and many current members will remember him fondly.
We send our very best wishes to his family.

Graham Ransom

We were so very saddended by the sudden death of Graham in November 2020, and we send our sincere condolences to Christine and his family.
Graham was a stalwart and much loved member of the orchestra, and our lead 'cellist and Chairman for many years.
He will be missed greatly by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
